00:00Where do the Lakers go in the future here?
00:05Like, number one, is LeBron James going to stay?
00:07And also if he does, does it make any difference here, coach?
00:10Like that's back-to-back years where Denver's like, yeah, we're just markedly better than
00:13you guys.
00:14How do they actually improve here with Anthony Davis and LeBron James if they both stay?
00:19The problem is, is what do they have tradable?
00:22I mean, they have supposedly a draft, but I think they have three first-round draft
00:25picks that they could move.
00:27You know, the problem is that people are looking at a guy like a Trae Young that could
00:31have come available.
00:32Trae Young doesn't solve the problem with the Lakers.
00:35The Lakers need to be long and athletic.
00:38They need wing guys that can defend, that can lock people up.
00:42If you go get Trae Young, it makes your offense better, but it makes your defense remarkably
00:47worse.
00:48So to me, the Lakers have to go find a way to get some wing depth that can actually get
00:54stops.
00:55And I think that's the thing.
00:57When you look at these teams, like, you know, how young Denver is, how young Oklahoma City
01:02is, how young Minnesota is, like Houston may take a step up next year.
01:07Sacramento's relatively young, right?
01:09How does Memphis come back?
01:10Like these are young athletic teams, Donnie.
01:13These aren't old, grinding teams.
01:15They've got to get quicker, taller, and athletic, and I don't know what they have tradable to
01:21go get that.
