Warner Bros. released the trailer for M. Night Shyamalan newest thriller 'Trap' starring Josh Hartnett.

00:06 starring Josh Hartnett as a serial killer. Trap follows a father and teen daughter attending a

00:11 pop concert where they realize they're at the center of a dark and sinister event. The trailer

00:16 shows Hartnett's character with his daughter Jodi, played by Ariel Donahue, at a concert for a pop

00:21 star Lady Raven, played by Shyamalan's daughter and R&B singer Suleka. When Hartnett goes to the

00:26 bathroom, he finds groups of federal agents looking for a serial killer whom a concession

00:31 worker refers to as "The Butcher," named for the way he goes around just chopping people up. The

00:36 trailer then reveals Hartnett to be that killer, who's holding a victim hostage and now must find

00:40 his way out of the concert venue. Trap is Shyamalan's first movie to hit theaters since his move from

00:45 Universal to Warner Brothers announced back in August of 2023. Trap hits theaters August 9th.
