00:00 Today I'm going to be transformed from an androgynous look to a super feminine look.
00:06 It's gonna be different, it's gonna be weird, I don't really know how it's gonna play out.
00:10 I was always uncomfortable in women's clothes. Completely uncomfortable.
00:14 Alright Tay, you are done for makeup. Are you ready?
00:18 Oh my god.
00:21 You look so cute!
00:28 Today I'm going to be transformed into a super feminine woman to surprise my girlfriend.
00:33 We're gonna go out on a date and we're gonna see how it goes.
00:37 Hi! Are you Tay?
00:39 I am!
00:40 Perfect! So nice to meet you. I'm JC. I'm gonna be your makeup artist today.
00:44 Alright, come on in.
00:45 Let's do it.
00:46 So I'm Tay and I have kind of like an androgynous style look.
00:51 I'm muscular. I'm very masculine.
00:53 Obviously my hair is short, it's not long like the typical standards. It kind of just breaks barriers.
00:58 So I would describe it as like more masculine.
01:02 It'd be like boy clothes. I do shop in the boy section. Things like that.
01:06 Today the look I'm gonna be doing for Tay is we are going full glam to really take advantage of the full transformation.
01:16 Because she doesn't usually wear makeup.
01:18 So we're gonna do a smoky eye, kind of a nude lip, a little bit of contour and blush. All that fun stuff.
01:24 I am a little nervous. This is a lot. It's a lot of stuff. I don't think I've ever seen this much makeup before.
01:30 Yeah, I'm not gonna lie. I'm a little nervous.
01:33 Alright Tay, I am ready for you. Come on in.
01:36 Okay, let's do it.
01:37 How are you feeling about your transformation today? Are you nervous?
01:41 Yeah, I'm pretty nervous. I think like this is the most nervous I've been since choosing to do this.
01:47 Because it's actually happening. So, I don't know. I trust you. I trust you.
01:51 Is the chair scary?
01:52 Yeah, it's scary. It's official.
01:54 I grew up in the South. Bible Belt area.
01:59 And that really played into me figuring out who I was in regards to my sexuality.
02:06 It was really, really difficult to express myself.
02:08 So I had to wear feminine clothes. I had to wear clothes that made me uncomfortable.
02:12 I think being treated so like this is wrong because of religion, because of things like that.
02:20 I really, really struggled with figuring out my identity and who I was.
02:24 So Tay, why did you want to do a transformation into a feminine look? What was the reason?
02:31 I think it was just as like a reminder to people like me and to myself really and the queer community.
02:37 There are no barriers. We don't have to follow a stereotype.
02:42 Even though I'm a masculine woman, we can still be feminine. We can still embrace our femininity.
02:46 What does your family think about your androgynous style?
02:49 I wasn't allowed to be gay. I struggled with, or they struggled with me, my clothes.
02:55 I would literally dress one way in the house and then I'd go to school and change.
03:01 And I remember there was one time where I had a rainbow belt and my mom actually threw it away.
03:07 So it was really like things like that. It was really, I felt like I was doing something wrong.
03:12 So I just stopped. I just tried to fit in.
03:14 They were trying to protect me from the world and they didn't do it in the best way,
03:19 but they did the best that they could. And because of that, we're good now.
03:24 They usually start off with the eyes, especially for something really, really glam.
03:29 What in the world is glam? I have no idea what that even means.
03:32 You're about to find out.
03:34 Why did you decide to do a transformation show to show off your more feminine side?
03:39 I think I wanted to do it to feel comfortable in it.
03:44 I've worn feminine clothes before, but it was super uncomfortable.
03:48 It was in a way where like I hated who I was.
03:51 And now that I'm with Zosia, like she appreciates my femininity and she's never seen it.
03:58 So who are you doing this reveal to?
04:00 To my beautiful girlfriend, Zosia.
04:03 She's very feminine, makeup, loves makeup, used to be a makeup artist actually.
04:07 So are you going to tell me what's going on today?
04:13 So I'm getting a makeover.
04:16 Yeah, they're coming over.
04:18 You're getting a makeover? What kind? Are you going to tell me what kind?
04:20 No, that's a surprise.
04:22 You can't tell me?
04:24 So you're not going to tell me anything? It's just a little, maybe close?
04:27 Just a makeover, that's it.
04:28 Okay. That's fine. You don't have to tell me anything.
04:30 It's probably going to drive me crazy.
04:32 Alright Tay, you are done for makeup. It's time to get into your outfit.
04:39 Alright, let's do this.
04:41 Wow, it's crazy how much just like a different way of really like changes. I was like, oh.
04:44 I think the first time that I see myself in the mirror, I'm going to be like, who is this person?
04:49 Why did you decide to do this? So we'll see.
04:53 Are you ready?
04:56 Yeah, let's do it.
04:58 Oh my God. I look like my sister.
05:08 Oh wow. Wow. That is different.
05:23 Your makeup is pretty good. Okay. Okay.
05:27 I can get with this. Not on like a daily basis, but it's good.
05:33 What do you think your girlfriend will think of your makeover?
05:36 Zasha is going to be, I don't know. Zasha is going to be either excited or she's going to be like, yo, what?
05:45 What? Who is this?
05:47 I've never seen Tay in a different style.
05:51 She's been pretty consistent with her look.
05:54 I'm excited to see what's going to happen. I'm excited.
05:59 Zasha's out there. I'm going to reveal myself.
06:03 And I don't know, I'm a little nervous. I don't know how she's going to act.
06:06 She's never seen me with long hair. So here we go.
06:09 You look so cute.
06:14 Oh, come here.
06:19 The shoes didn't make it.
06:21 You look so good. I don't want to mess up your makeup.
06:26 You look so good. Hold on. Stand over here.
06:29 Oh my God. Look how cute you look with long hair.
06:34 It's so pretty. What do you mean?
06:38 Oh, can I kiss you? Yeah.
06:44 I don't want to mess it up.
06:46 You just got to kiss me like I normally kiss you.
06:50 Oh, baby, you look good.
06:54 Body. What the heck?
06:58 What do you think of Tay's new look?
07:01 I love it. Don't get used to it.
07:04 I love it. I love it so much.
07:07 I knew that was going to happen. You're going to get used to it.
07:09 No, no, not at all. No, I love, no, I like your, I like your normal look.
07:13 I love your normal look. This is nice.
07:16 Can I do your makeup like maybe once a month?
07:18 No, I'm not going to say all that.
07:21 Okay, fine. Every couple of months.
07:25 You actually, you came out here and you worked it.
07:28 You did it. Like you were like, I look good. This dress fits nice.
07:33 I am proud of myself for doing this, for stepping out of my comfort zone.
07:38 I think that I still look like me. I'm still in me.
07:41 And I think that's the biggest thing is that you can express yourself however you want.
07:45 And we're still ourselves.
07:47 Now that the transformation is complete, we're going to go get some wine, go on a date and have some fun.
07:53 Mm hmm.
07:54 Looking like this.
07:55 Lots of fun. Lots of fun. Excuse me.
07:58 Thank you guys. We're having the best time.
08:07 And Taylor looks amazing.
08:09 Thanks baby. Cheers.
08:11 Cheers to y'all.
