00:00 Starting with Aston Villa and their marvellous run to make it this far, barely leaving the top four all season.
00:09 With a fantastic run in the Europa Conference League on top of their form, is Unai Emery proving a standout name for the award?
00:17 I think the big six should be ignored this time around in terms of manager of the season.
00:22 Because I know you've got the Arsenal, you've got Liverpool, you've got Man City, three amazing managers.
00:26 You'd have the romantic story of Jurgen Klopp can lift that title, he probably would get manager of the season in that instance.
00:32 I don't think Liverpool will win the league, but I think there has been one team that has outperformed their expectations,
00:38 and that is Aston Villa, Unai Emery led. Not only has he got them into fourth place, looks like they could finish there,
00:45 if not fourth, probably fifth with the UEFA co-efficiency that could beat Champions League football.
00:51 What an achievement that would be, especially considering the injuries to Emi Buendia and to Tyrone Mings,
00:57 Bubu Karkemara as well, Alex Moreno, Lucas Dean, we've seen out for long periods, John Durham as well, Jacob Ramsey.
01:04 The list goes on, there's been so many issues. I think there's been so much focus on other teams and their injuries,
01:09 but Villa have been hit very hard. They've not really looked back, so that identity as I say and that consistency,
01:15 Unai Emery is a fantastic manager, one of the very best in the world, let alone in the Premier League.
01:20 Aston Villa are very lucky to have him.
01:22 Wolves boss Gary O'Neill has done a fantastic job at the club, coming in just days before the season started
01:31 and then proceeding to capture the imagination of the fans with wins over champions Manchester City, Tottenham
01:38 and rivals West Brom in the Cup. O'Neill received huge praise and should his work at the club go unnoticed,
01:45 he could feel hard done by.
01:47 Two, maybe three, I think Unai Emery, the job he's done at Aston Villa has been absolutely outstanding this season.
01:54 I mean, I know there was a challenge for the title now, but to keep a pace with the top three for a while
02:00 was a fantastic achievement and if he can finish in the top four and secure Champions League football,
02:05 then you have to take your hat off to him and he's probably proved a lot of his doubts as wrong as he was time at Arsenal.
02:11 Gary O'Neill at Wolves though, this is a Wolves team that would tend to be in a relegation battle before the start of the season.
02:21 When Julian Ilokotek left and there were a lot of question marks over the financial situation at the club,
02:27 or to be sitting ninth when you were expected to be down at the bottom, unbelievable achievement,
02:35 especially what happened at Bournemouth as well, the way he was let go.
02:38 He might go down as well, but I think Rob Edwards has done a sterling job of looting as well.
02:44 Looting at the start of the season, some people thought there was going to be another derby in that infamous season, didn't they?
02:51 But they've shown fight, they've shown desire.
02:53 But for me, probably looking at Gary O'Neill, I think he's done an outstanding job.
02:59 - Yeah.
