Transport Minister Anthony Loke has refuted claims that traffic summons are issued to meet key performance indicators (KPI).
He clarified that the KPIs for his ministry's authorities include decreasing traffic accidents and that there is no mandate from the Transport Ministry or the Road Transport Department regarding the issuance of a specific number of summons.
