Earlier this month, Greater Manchester's nighttime economy adviser Sacha Lord spoke of the city-region's booming hospitality and said he wanted Manchester to be Europe's capital of nightlife.

The Warehouse project boss said: "Everyone knows this city as a party region," and that the people of Manchester are 24-hour party people.

Last week, on the 22nd and 23rd of March, the first-ever International Brewing and Cider festival was hosted at Depot Mayfield in the city centre, bringing together people working in the hospitality and craft brewing industries.

We spoke to some of the people behind some of Manchester's small brewing businesses to find out their opinions on the city-region's hospitality scene.
