00:04 a light wind hiding the tension for the much desired victory.

00:08 A competition marked by unpredictability.

00:11 Vamos! First monument of the season.

00:13 It's a super special race along the coast.

00:16 I mean, the beautiful race we have here in Italy.

00:20 Yeah, this is what I'm dreaming of when I start cycling.

00:24 I swear that when you're a little kid,

00:26 it's the first big race you watch on TV.

00:28 It's hard to really put into words the emotions that I have

00:30 when I get to the start line of Milan-Sanremo.

00:32 It's like no other race for me.

00:34 Chipresa and Poggio in the end,

00:36 so I think it's one of the most beautiful races to win.

00:38 I'm so excited to imagine what it means to win

00:41 and play a Monument in Italy.

00:43 The last part of the race, 30, 40, 50 kilometers,

00:48 are definitely the craziest finals of the year.

00:53 I'll bet that I want Sanremo, I think, very badly.

00:57 It would be one of my dreams.

00:59 Yeah, I think I would give away most of my wins for this.

01:31 My greatest fear in Milan-Sanremo will be Chipresa.

01:35 It's the longest climb of the day and probably the hardest one.

01:41 You feel a lot of excitement because you've been waiting for it all day,

01:44 the Chipresa.

01:45 On the one hand, you can't wait for it to arrive,

01:47 and on the other hand, you're a little worried

01:49 because maybe the race will open up.

01:52 I can think of somebody who's crazy enough to attack on the Chipresa.

01:56 It's super difficult to win it alone, but for sure.
