01:15 This week, I was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

01:25 [MUSIC PLAYING]

01:28 I've had kidney stones.

01:39 I've had ruptured discs.

01:41 So I'm used to dealing with pain.

01:42 But what I'm not used to dealing with

01:44 is these surges that come on suddenly of deep, deep sadness.

01:51 And it brings tears to my eyes.

01:56 Now, normally, the prognosis for this is not very encouraging.

02:02 But I'm going to fight this.

02:04 And I'm going to keep working.

02:06 And with the love and support of my family and friends,

02:10 and with the help of your prayers also,

02:13 I plan to beat the low survival rate

02:16 statistics for this disease.

02:25 I'm a 62-day survivor.

02:32 Ladies and gentlemen, the survivors

02:36 who will help get the message across that there is hope.

02:42 And if we keep working at it, we will beat cancer.
