St Patrick's Day revellers camp outside pub to beat queues

Cleaners at Dropkick Murphys in Edinburgh's Merchant Street were shocked to find people camping outside the pub door when they arrived for their shift on St Patrick's Day, March 17.

00:06 Yeah, so the cleaners arrived today and there was people in the queue with tents out ready to go.

00:12 They'd been having a few pre-drinks to get ready and a few coffees and they said they just didn't

00:18 want to get stuck and wanted to be out all day and make sure they got down. So dedication to be fair,

00:23 sleeping bags, pop-up tents, but they're first in and so they're guaranteed entry at least.

00:29 But yeah, bizarre that people will actually sleep out in the cold all night to come in for Paddy's sake.
