TSA Introduces Self-Screening Lanes at Las Vegas Airport, Promising Faster Security Checks

The TSA unveiled new self-screening lanes for passengers at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. Passengers can screen themselves and their belongings using new automated technology like body scanners instead of physical screening. The system is designed to get passengers through faster while reducing interactions with TSA agents. It has features such as automated bin return and UV light to sanitize trays between users. The lanes currently only accept TSA PreCheck passengers and only provide instructions in English.
