00:00 How do you feel the royal family handled her health situation?
00:05 I don't know if it's the royal family I'd blame for this mess.
00:08 It would be the palace.
00:09 Look, that picture of her, somebody, I've been asked if that was staged by the palace
00:14 to assuage people's fears and get rid of all the conspiracy theories that have been swirling around
00:19 the royal family lately, and I think it's quite the opposite.
00:22 I think if you look at the expression on her face, she was caught unawares and unhappy.
00:27 Look, it's amazing to me that the palace can be so tone deaf about this, not only in the
00:34 handling of Catherine, but also in the handling of the king and his medical situation, which is
00:40 in tandem with this. Looking at Kate's situation specifically, from the get-go, it was very fishy.
00:48 I mean, two weeks in the hospital, who does that anymore? You can have open heart surgery and be
00:52 out in a week, you know? And then months under wraps. What's going on? And I think the British
01:00 people have a right to know. I mean, the world has a right to know. She's the daughter-in-law
01:05 of a head of state, and who's the head of state not only of Great Britain, but 14 other countries,
01:10 Commonwealth countries. I think there could be a lot more forthright about what her condition was,
01:16 what the surgery was for, and why she has to be recuperated for such a lengthy period.
01:22 It's just getting worse and worse. This last statement they issued was basically wrapping
01:29 everyone on the knuckles for daring to question them. You know, didn't explain anything. And yes,
01:34 they said from the beginning she'd be out of commission, but never why. And I don't think
01:38 that's acceptable, frankly. How do you think King Charles is feeling
01:42 during his treatment and during this sort of very tumultuous time for the royal family?
01:47 We've seen him appear twice, I think, since this diagnosis. The last time was to thank people for
01:53 all the cards and letters and whatnot. And I think he looked very emotional and very shaky. That's my
01:58 analysis of it. I think Camilla, you know, reports are that she's kind of drained and
02:05 shattered, and that's why she's headed off to, I believe, the Caribbean. Amazingly, nobody seems
02:10 to know exactly where she is. How the Queen of England can just disappear is beyond me. But
02:15 this is the time of year that she takes her week off, usually. And I think she's going alone
02:23 because she's just wrung out emotionally and physically. Although she has only had 13,
02:28 you know, made 13 appearances, had 13 engagements since February 5th.
02:35 And people were talking about the great load she has. That's lighter than her usual
02:40 load. I mean, you know, 400 or 500 appearances a year is pretty
02:45 common for senior members of the royal family. So it's all very suspicious, frankly.
