The Tasmanian Liberal Party is promising to get tough on young and repeat offenders if it wins government saying harsher penalties and a new police strike force will help community members and business owners feel safe. But child safety advocates are accusing the liberals of ignoring the rights of children in the wake of the commission of inquiry.
