00:00 Diolch yn fawr i chi.
00:02 Today, people across Wales and all over the world will come together to celebrate all
00:08 things Cymru a Chymreig Todd, Wales and Welshness.
00:14 On our national day, we like to do as St David did, "Gwneud y pethau bychain", to do the
00:19 little things to help improve the lives of others.
00:23 This sense of taking care of and doing well by others is enshrined in our national identity,
00:29 just as it is in our love of song and sports.
00:32 And in these uncertain times, we could all benefit from being a bit more Welsh and doing
00:38 those little things.
00:39 Now, we're rightly proud of our tolerant and progressive values, of our close-knit communities
00:46 and a strong sense of social justice and fairness.
00:50 But Wales is also home to global businesses, providing a nurturing ground where innovators,
00:56 creators and brilliant ideas can thrive.
01:00 Our rich history, vibrant culture and language is as unique as our epic mountains, dramatic
01:06 coastlines and thriving cities.
01:08 Now, this is my last St David's Day as First Minister, but we will continue our work to
01:14 create a stronger, fairer and greener Wales in which no one is left behind.
01:20 A country where people don't have to choose between eating or heating their homes.
01:25 A place where everyone is welcome.
01:29 And where our children can achieve their ambitions without thinking that their future success
01:36 needs lie elsewhere.
01:38 These are aims rooted in the lessons taught by Dewey Sant himself.
01:43 And wherever you are celebrating St David's Day this year, I encourage you to do a little
01:49 something to brighten up someone else's day.
01:54 And so, for the last time as First Minister, Dydd Gwyl Dewi hapus to you all.
02:00 Mwynhewch.
02:01 Diolch yn fawr.
02:02 Diolch yn fawr.
02:06 Diolch yn fawr.
