Secret Angels Easter Egg appeal

Secret Angels founder Alvina Ali and Laura Bentley from Eurofins explain the importance of the Easter Egg appeal.

00:00 This is Secret Angels Easter egg appeal which we launched last year and due to the success

00:07 of the initiative what we decided to do was do another appeal this year because what we

00:14 found from last year and the year before is that we have got people on our waiting list

00:20 for the food bank where people are really disadvantaged and they cannot even afford

00:25 to buy some Easter eggs for their children so we thought what we will do is we will drive

00:31 this initiative, see how it goes and due to its success this is our second time round

00:37 so with the support of Express and Start and some of the businesses that came forward last

00:41 year and this year we have got Eurofins and we have got WorkPays as well so we are hoping

00:47 to reach our target of over 400 and because we have got children waiting list of 500 and

00:54 then again the adults are approximately the same about 500 so we want to try and see that

00:59 every single family will get an Easter egg and a smile on their face.

01:04 So yeah as a business we are helping Secret Angels this year and Alvina and the team here

01:09 Eurofins food and water testing on the I54 business park as a site we are raising awareness

01:16 and collecting Easter eggs for a whole month on behalf of the site and it is just great

01:21 and rewarding for all of us to give back to the local community and pledge our commitment

01:26 to charitable causes as a business so it is great to help all the team out and we continue
