More than five thousand people -- mostly from the local Nepalese community -- have staged a silent rally to protest the killing of a Nepalese man by police. They demanded an independent inquiry into the shooting on March the 17th. Police have said the shooting occurred when a constable came under repeated attack by the chair-wielding man, and had exhausted all other means of force. But, the brother of the victim, Ram Limbu, said opening fire on his brother was excessive, and there's no one who could prove the police version of the event.
