Liverpool 4-1 Luton: post-match verdict

Will Rooney reports from Anfield as Liverpool restore  a four-point lead at the top of the Premier League.

00:05 Liverpool are still on a four point lead at the top of the Premier League table.

00:09 The scoreline you might think that it was an emphatic victory, comfortable victory for Liverpool.

00:14 But it wasn't that, Liverpool had to fight and dig in.

00:17 They really did because they were out without 11 players in total.

00:23 Mo Salah, Darwin Nunes, Diogo Diotta, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Curtis Jones and Dominic Subosley.

00:29 So Liverpool dealt a real tough hand ahead of this game.

00:34 Depleted in numbers but they made a good fist of it to be fair to them.

00:43 They started well, Liverpool and Luis Diaz had a couple of early chances he should have taken.
