Hundreds of tractors roll into Prague as farmers protest against EU policy

Farmers across several European countries have taken to the streets in recent weeks as they protest again the EU’s Green Deal.

00:42 But major agricultural organizations distanced themselves from the rally

00:46 after it turned out some organizers were behind recent pro-Russian demonstrations.

00:51 We are going to express our dissatisfaction with the European context of agriculture.

00:59 Our protests are the same as those of other European countries.

01:03 We do not like Green Deal, we do not like its imposition in the agricultural revolution,

01:08 which is extremely restricting and devastating for us.

01:12 Meanwhile, on Sunday, Polish farmers blocked access to the road at the border crossing

01:16 with Ukraine as part of ongoing protests by farmers across Europe

01:20 against the bloc's agriculture policy.

01:22 Kiev described the blockade as a "security threat" in a time of war.

01:27 Polish farmers are also angry about the duty-free influx of Ukrainian agricultural goods.
