SMC-led group wins bid for NAIA rehab

San Miguel Corporation (SMC)-led group SMC-SAP Company and Consortium is the winner of the months-long bidding race for the operations and maintenance of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), as announced by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) in a media briefing on Feb. 16.   The group proposed the highest bid amount among the three bidders for the airport, offering to give the national government 82.16 percent of airport revenues.
