00:00 You're on the assessment this afternoon.
00:07 We've been in very good form coming into the game. We had a couple of boys, senior lads,
00:14 Luka and Crozzo, that was carrying Knox. We decided to give them a little bit of a break.
00:19 I thought we deserved the game. We had six, seven clean-cut chances, three one-on-ones
00:25 that keep us playing very, very well. I think we deserved it but it was one of those frustrating
00:30 games. We did most things right on a bobbly pitch but sometimes in football that's what
00:35 happens. We can't sit them off to the game, we can't get our heads down. I said these
00:39 two points won't make any difference to the end of the season. We've got to now focus
00:43 on the game on Tuesday against Northwood.
00:45 Do you think that, I've been watching all our games all season and I think we played
00:50 better in that game than we have in other games and won. Do you think that's fair?
00:57 Yes, I think so. I think overall we dominated most of it, I'd say 80-90% of the game. It's
01:04 a little bit frustrating having a 1-1. The good thing is, as I said afterwards, they've
01:09 created a good 8-10, good chances. On a different day you probably score five or six of those.
01:14 It's not a big issue for me that we've only picked up a draw because they're a decent
01:20 side we've played against. It won't stop us to where we want to go. Just this time round
01:26 we're not celebrating the three points, we'll take the draw.
01:29 There is a little bit of a positive, I suppose. We played South Park, conceded four, played
01:36 against Binfield, conceded two. So you had six goals in two games. Obviously only conceded
01:40 the one today, it's not great to concede a goal. But there is a sign of improvement there,
01:43 do you think?
01:44 I think there is. We had some personnel out which sort of disrupts. I think one change
01:47 is OK. When you change two or three it can disrupt the balance a little bit. But for
01:53 me, I said to Moffat as well, we love attacking. Because we attack a lot it's going to stress
01:59 out the back five as well. Do you want to win a game 1-0 or do you want to be exciting
02:04 and play to show what they've got? It might be a high-scoring game. We're the latter.
02:09 We like lads to express themselves and enjoy it and create chances. Hopefully next time
02:14 we'll take them. It could have been a completely different scoreline at the end with the penalty.
02:18 It could have gone the other way. I don't think the referee had the best of games today.
02:23 Probably two lads on either side could have got sent off or should have got sent off.
02:26 He didn't do it. We spoke to him afterwards. They've got a tough job. But sometimes you
02:32 do feel that we plan all week to get the team to where it needs to be on a Saturday. Sometimes
02:37 the officials can influence that. But that's part and parcel of football I'm afraid.
02:43 - All right, okay, cheers. - Cheers.
