Parents encourage to play online games with their kids

Parents have been urged to help their kids avoid the traps and maximise the wins from online gaming by picking up a controller. Australia's e-safety commissioner says parents can learn a new skill while helping their kids avoid bullies and predators.

01:27 Experts caution that for some kids, screen addiction is a serious risk.

01:31 Gaming addiction is related to the transition to other forms of addictions such as gambling.

01:38 And warn that a powerful commercial gaming industry needs tighter regulation.
