00:11 Hi, my name is Bev Jones and I'm a contributor here for the Monmouthshire Beacon and the Abergavenny
00:17 Chronicle. I live locally here in Monmouthshire and I've been writing for the papers now for
00:24 a good few years so you may well have caught up on some of my columns. I haven't always lived in
00:28 Monmouthshire, I was born in Monmouthshire, I lived here till I was 23 and then I moved into a
00:33 corporate career and lived in London and in Dublin and then back to Wales over that 30 years. In 2009
00:42 I burnt out and went down a journey of dark days I guess, before in 2010 started my own business
00:51 which I started up to help people not go where I went. Previously I used to do coaching, mentoring
00:57 or running workshops etc. However today I actually spend more time as a public speaker,
01:03 more time doing some writing. I've written a few books, as I said I write this column,
01:09 I write blogs, all sorts of things. If I could just get writing and speaking that is my goal
01:15 because that's what I actually love to do and I hope through my columns I can inspire and maybe
01:22 help others on their journey, as I said before, not to go where I went. This week's column is
01:28 all around the little flower that pokes its head up through the ground at this time of year and it
01:34 shows us, you'll have to find out and read the column to find out which flower it is, but it'll
01:38 show you that you know there is resilience and in all of us and that we can battle through and we
01:44 can push our way through whatever life throws at us. It just takes that strength and that strength
01:50 is found within. Sometimes we have to search a little deeper, I know that, but I always say life
01:56 is a roller coaster and some days we have to hold on a little tighter and it's the resilience and
02:00 the strength within that enables us to do that. I hope you enjoy.
