In the early hours of January 31, a Ukrainian drone targeted the Nevsky Mazut oil refinery in St Petersburg, successfully evading Russia's top-tier air defense system. Ukraine has officially acknowledged the drone strike on the Russian oil facility. Additionally, two Russian teenagers are facing charges for allegedly detonating a railway on behalf of Ukrainian intelligence. The Russian army responded with nine missile strikes and 99 airstrikes directed towards Ukraine, employing multiple-launch rocket systems 129 times. Ukraine's spy chief has hinted at the possibility of a new counter-offensive in the spring.
