00:03 There's no controversy about getting to 40,000 points in the NBA.
00:06 What a historical mark coming for LeBron James.
00:09 But they're under 500 again, Matt.
00:11 I don't know that that's really matters.
00:13 It feels like the Lakers just don't play in the regular season.
00:15 Maybe that's part of everything that's going on.
00:18 There's no question that they're gonna be in some sort of play-in situation or
00:22 even make the playoffs somehow.
00:23 I know they want the Lakers in that.
00:25 But the end of LeBron's career after winning that championship in the bubble
00:29 is certainly not going the way that he anticipated it.
00:32 >> No, I mean, like you said, the numbers are still there, but
00:36 the team success really hasn't been.
00:38 But it is funny, they did make the Western Conference Finals last year.
00:41 And we all, it was a sweep, and we kind of forget it, but
00:45 that's still pretty good, and they're still gonna be there.
00:47 And when you look at the top of the West, some of these teams without much playoff
00:51 experience/success, like the Timberwolves, like the Thunder.
00:55 And if they're facing the Lakers in the first round,
00:59 I wouldn't be surprised one bit if the Lakers are favored,
01:01 as long as they're healthy.
01:02 At least their two big ones are healthy.
01:04 And then they might make a trade here or there, do something like they usually do.
01:09 I don't think anyone wants to see them in the playoffs, especially teams like that,
01:13 that, like I said, haven't had that playoff success here over the last couple
01:17 years, so it's gonna be real interesting.
01:19 And anything can happen with LeBron.
01:22 I'm at the point where I wouldn't be shocked by anything happening.
01:25 Him being traded wouldn't shock me if he wants it, and
01:28 the Lakers doing some sort of big trade wouldn't shock me.
