00:35 It's not just a supernatural genre show, it's a drama at the heart of it.
00:42 It's really moving and it's really dramatic and there's lots of effects and stunts and
00:51 it's kind of trippy at times and it's fast-paced and it's modern and yeah, it's really cool."

01:46 I don't think the UK does genre quite a lot, so when the BBC got behind this it was very
01:53 exciting and I just got to, I mean you can change the rules of the world so you get to
01:57 like play with the audience a bit and yeah, it's been fun.
02:02 So you can play with what they might expect and I wanted to kind of write a thriller as
02:08 well, it's supernatural but it's like a thriller element and it just helps, it lends into that
02:14 genre quite well.
02:15 I mean there's a lot of myself in Domino, a lot of my own dating stories are in the
02:21 script but yeah I just, I think there's always a time in a young person's life where you're
02:28 just trying to find out who you are and you're sort of questioning people around you and
02:34 how you connect to the world and I just think it's a story that any young person will relate
02:39 to but in a supernatural world."
