I believe we're better suited this year. I think we've improved dramatically over last year.
00:06
I think we've improved in a way that gives us the chance to win football games.
00:10
It's no disrespect to what we were doing last year. We had quality players here.
00:14
But I just feel as a team, the dynamic and the collective effort in order to win a football game,
00:21
we're so much more closer to that week after week.
00:25
And the lads are learning a hell of a lot. We're halfway through a season of still firsts again.
00:31
We've got a lot of first-year players. We've got a brand new coaching set-up.
00:37
And when you remove all the emotion and all this, that and the other, and you look at real hard facts,
00:43
I think the boys are doing that, and the coaches, and the club in general, are doing a really, really top effort.
00:49
From day one to now, we've improved out of sight.
00:53
And it just goes to show when Wellington, who are top of the table, come and they play with a back five,
00:58
and they respect you as much because they know we're dangerous, it just goes to show how far you have come.
