00:48 There is also a lower volume of sugar consumption this year
00:52 compared to 2023, which reached 991,000 tons
00:57 or down by about 28.5%.
01:00 Nevertheless, the Ministry of Trade insisted
01:04 that the volume of sugar imports this year can still be increased.
01:07 The commodity quota can be evaluated every three months
01:11 so that when needed, the amount can be increased or reduced.
01:15 Meanwhile, the government also continues to try to increase sugar production
01:19 in the country in order to meet the target of the sugar quota.
