00:00 I won't lie, there are times I ask myself why on earth I took this job.
00:06 A top secret research facility, miles underground in the utter middle of nowhere?
00:10 A contract with an entire section on threats of paranormal activity?
00:14 I'd have paid any price to stand at the edge of human understanding.
00:18 And it looks like we may have done just that.
00:21 Now we're trapped down here, with monstrosities, mercenaries and...
00:26 things I can't even begin to describe.
00:30 We're rationing food, risking dehydration, with no hope of rescue.
00:35 But it's not a total calamity.
00:39 I've seen places you wouldn't believe, and I've gotten a lot closer to my colleagues.
00:45 My medical skills are getting sharper by the second, and you should see me behind the wheel.
00:51 We're turning unwanted gear into essential equipment, and every single day,
00:56 we're inventing new tools and technology for critical research.
01:01 Although our new diet doesn't always agree with me.
01:05 I even think we're getting closer to finding a way out of here.
01:09 Yesterday we moved our camp to the labs and constructed a new power system.
01:13 No more Dark Knights or decomposing food for us.
01:18 Dr. Shepard's farm is producing nicely, and Sukhov's teleporters have shrunk travel time to seconds.
01:25 It seems, when you stop fretting about red tape, workplace safety or ethical considerations,
01:31 anything's possible.
01:33 We're beginning to understand the anomalies we're encountering,
01:36 and I'm starting to think we just might get out of this alive.
01:42 Maybe.
