00:00 Well, the New Hampshire primary has come and gone, and it's shaped up just about how everyone
00:04 expected.
00:05 Donald Trump won with 54% of the votes to Nikki Haley's 43%.
00:09 However, there may be more to these results than meets the eye.
00:12 That's because according to a CNN exit poll, 70% of the votes that went to Haley were not
00:17 from registered Republicans, but rather independent voters.
00:21 The polling also found that the counter was true with Trump, where 70% of his votes came
00:25 from registered Republicans.
00:27 What's also interesting are the equal and opposite views Haley and Trump supporters
00:31 have.
00:32 About 20/20 election fraud claims.
00:34 80% of Trump's supporters say they believe his claims about President Biden committing
00:38 election fraud to win in 2020.
00:40 Meanwhile, 83% of Haley's supporters believe Biden won fairly against Trump.
00:45 So what could this all mean as primary season heats up?
00:47 Well, it could be bad news for Haley, as many states don't allow independents to cast votes
00:52 in primaries.
00:53 However, the next contest in South Carolina has no such rule, and it's Haley's home state,
00:58 where she was once governor.
00:59 Meaning it could also be where the tides turn in the GOP primary.
