00:00 Deloitte, an active consulting network in 150 countries,
00:08 has inaugurated the new Roman seat in Via Vittorio Veneto 89
00:12 in the neoclassical-style building designed in 1927 by architect Carlo Broggi
00:18 and restructured following the highest standards of environmental sustainability.
00:22 The location will be the reference point for the more than 2,600 people of Deloitte
00:27 operating in the capital, so far located in several seats.
00:30 Rome is and remains an essential center for us,
00:38 in which we believe and we are convinced that there is still space to do business
00:43 and therefore for the boys of Rome or anyone who studies here,
00:48 to have an important job opening.
00:52 We plan to hire another 1,000 people in the next three years.
00:57 I believe there are many opportunities for our boys and obviously our goal
01:03 is to make sure, as we know, not to let them go away,
01:06 not to let them go abroad as much as possible,
01:09 instead of giving them a space, a professional growth opportunity right here in Rome.
01:16 The choice of the location in Via Vittorio Veneto,
01:19 famous for its intellectual and artistic diversity,
01:22 aims to restore value to the city and to generate a positive impact for the territory.
01:27 A multinational company like Deloitte, which opens Via Veneto and brings over 2,000 employees,
01:33 is an element that will give further economic boost to the Via.
01:37 It is possible to imagine that many new commercial activities
01:40 will follow this economic influx of great professionalism.
01:45 Deloitte has also established a strategic partnership with the Vatican
01:49 for several projects in view of the Jubilee of 2025.
01:53 From our side I can only be grateful for the immediate help and availability
02:02 that Deloitte has given to the Jubilee of 2025.
02:06 And so from this perspective I am happy to be here at this inauguration,
02:12 knowing that the employees of Deloitte who take up this new position
02:20 are a generation of young people and therefore leave much to be desired
02:25 for what will be the progress, the future of the city and the country.
