00:02 Well it meant everything, it's my home town, it's a chance to get on the

00:06 Gladiator show which is TV, you know it's not, doesn't happen every day so for me

00:10 it excited me no end to perform in Sheffield in front of the home crowd.

00:15 What can viewers expect from the programme?

00:17 Very exciting, a lot of action, a lot of fit people and everybody's giving 100% so yeah it's good, it'll make good TV.

00:27 Is it that you were one of the oldest contestants on the programme?

00:30 Rumour's right, I was the oldest contestant ever on Gladiators England and US, I don't know anywhere else that does it.

00:36 So yeah, 57 years old, oldest, not saying I'm the fittest 57 year old but I'd like to take anybody else on at 57, 58, let's see where I'm at.
