00:15 it just shows what an appalling miscarriage of justice it is

00:20 And it's important that those people now get the justice that they deserve.

00:23 - They all be exonerated. - And that's what the compensation schemes are about.

00:27 It's such a complicated thing and so combative.

00:31 DBT and Post Office themselves are actually administering

00:35 the compensation schemes, of which there are three.

00:39 Obviously, I'm involved in one of those compensation schemes.

00:43 The victims are traumatised.

00:45 It's been a long time, over 25 years,

00:49 and £135 million has been paid to some of the victims.

00:54 But we've had £150 million plus paid to lawyers.
