While the whole world celebrates the arrival of the new year 2024, in Gaza the scenario is completely different. The death toll continues to rise in the region, especially women and children. teleSUR

00:23 are here inside the Al-Aqsa Hospital as displaced people.

00:27 It does not matter if you are a civilian or a militant,

00:31 if you are a journalist or a doctor.

00:34 You are displaced anyway here in middle and southern Gaza.

00:39 According to the Palestinian Health Ministry

00:41 and in a series of Israeli airstrikes and Israeli shelling

00:45 in Gaza, middle Gaza and southern Gaza,

00:48 the death toll in Gaza today reached 156 Palestinians.

00:53 And this brings up the death toll here in Gaza

00:56 since the 7th of October, up to 21,978 people.

01:04 8,000 of them are Palestinian children.

01:07 And here, while I am actually talking to you,

01:09 more ambulances are arriving to the hospital, more people

01:13 killed and more people injured in the latest Israeli attacks

01:16 on the refugee camps in middle Gaza,

01:19 Al-Nusayrat refugee camp and Al-Bureij refugee camp,
