00:00 Paige, you're the new registrar of the official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register.
00:08 What is it that makes Loch Ness special? Why do people come here from all over the world?
00:13 What makes Loch Ness so special is the big mystery about the Loch Ness Monster.
00:18 Here at the Sightings Register and the official Loch Ness Monster Fan Club, we're huge fans of Nesty.
00:23 We're really big on that mystery at Loch Ness and we know that fans worldwide want to work out
00:29 what that unexplained thing is in Loch Ness.
00:31 Are you a believer or non-believer?
00:34 100% a believer. There's no doubt there is something in Loch Ness that's definitely the Loch Ness Monster.
00:40 Have you ever had a sighting yourself?
00:43 Unfortunately, no. But that doesn't mean a sighting's not yet to come.
00:47 I'm hopeful in the next year or two I should hopefully get a sighting of the Loch Ness Monster.
00:52 What is it that you're looking for when people report a sighting?
00:58 Well, when people report a sighting, there's a few key things we have to have.
01:02 So we need to know that it's actually Loch Ness, so we need to have a bit of the surroundings to work out the location.
01:08 And then we compare it to previous sightings of eyewitnesses as well.
01:12 So really there's a few criteria that we follow and we get some experts involved as well.
01:17 We really want to know what we're looking at when we get a sighting.
