00:00 I'm here at Leeds Rhinos training, coach's training ground with Kieran Hudson, new signing
00:07 from Castleford. How are you settling in at Leeds?
00:10 Settling great, you know all the lads are up to sound, I feel so welcomed, it's almost
00:15 like I pretty much feel at home now, so home for the next two years.
00:19 And you've obviously got a family connection to the Rhinos through your grandad John Holmes,
00:25 so is this a club you've always fancied playing for?
00:27 Yeah, I mean I've watched them from a young age, it's a dream come true, even a play in
00:33 Super League at all is a dream, but especially a come for Leeds Rhinos, so I've got Rowan
00:37 to thank for that and everyone around, so yeah it definitely means a lot for me and
00:41 my family.
00:42 Obviously you had a tough time in 2023 with a pre-season achilles injury which kept you
00:47 out for the entire season, how's the recovery going and when could we see you on the field?
00:51 It's going well, I'm pretty much at the back end of it now, I'm in the light, so I should
00:58 be fine around January playing round then, so hopefully get a few pre-season games in
01:02 to us, but the bar is behind us now.
01:05 And the target this year is obviously to play some Super League?
01:07 The target is to play as much Super League as I can, to reach my full potential.
