00:00 Good morning to all of us. Today is Thursday, December 14, 2023, and this is the time for the whole day and for the next few days.
00:10 At the moment, the wind is blowing from the north and the easterlies are affecting the rest of the country.
00:20 Meanwhile, the cloud clusters outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility are now a low-pressure area and we have seen it again at a distance of 1,865 kilometers in the east of Southeastern Mindanao.
00:33 This low-pressure area still has a low chance of being a storm in the next two days, although we expect that this Philippine Area of Responsibility will enter on Saturday.
00:44 And when Sunday comes, it may approach the eastern part of Mindanao. So, we are still warning our fellow Filipinos to prepare for this low-pressure system because it may bring rain in the eastern part of Visayas and Mindanao.
01:03 And for the weather today in Kalakhang Luzon, we expect cloudy skies with heavy rains in the Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, and some parts of Bicol Region, particularly in the Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and Catanduanes because of the effect of the mild wind.
01:21 And in the northern part of Luzon, including Metro Manila, we expect generally fair weather conditions and isolated and mild rains and thunderstorms because of the effect of the mild wind.
01:34 Temperature in the area is 24 to 32 degrees Celsius in Tugaygaraw, 23 to 32, in Baguio City, 16 to 25, Metro Manila is 24 to 33, Tagaytay City is 22 to 30, in Legazpi and Calayaan Islands, 25 to 32 degrees Celsius, and in Puerto Princesa, 25 to 33 degrees Celsius.
02:01 And for the weather in Visayas and Mindanao, we expect generally fair weather conditions even though severe thunderstorms may occur that may bring flooding and landslides. So be alert, ladies and gentlemen, in the event of severe thunderstorms.
02:20 Temperature in Iloilo and Tacloban is 26 to 32 degrees Celsius, in Metro Cebu and Metro Davao, 25 to 32, in Cagayan de Oro, 24 to 31, and in Zamboanga City, 24 to 34 degrees Celsius.
02:37 And for the weather in the ocean, we do not have any high-level gale warnings in our country, even though we are being careful in the northern part of the Luzon where the high-level waves may still be possible, including mild winds.
02:56 And for our three-day weather outlook in the provinces of our country, from tomorrow, Friday, until Sunday, we expect generally fair weather conditions throughout the country, even though mild winds may be possible and thunderstorms may occur in all parts of our country, and possibly isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
03:19 And when the sun comes up, we expect to see some rain in the Bicol region and in the eastern Visayas, in the vicinity of the low-pressure system that we are monitoring.
03:29 And again, mild winds will be possible in the Luzon, Metro Manila, and in the southern part of Visayas and Mindanao, generally for weather conditions, except for the chance of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
03:45 The temperature in Metro Manila is 24 to 32 degrees Celsius, in the city is 15 to 25, here in the Legazpi region, the temperature is 24 to 32 degrees Celsius, in Metro Cebu, it is 25 to 31, and here in the Metro Davao region, it is 25 to 34 degrees Celsius.
04:06 And the high-level weather conditions will be 6 to 12 in the morning, and later, 5 to 29 in the evening.
04:14 And for additional updates, especially on thunderstorm and rainfall advisories, visit our social media accounts, ust_pagasa, and for additional information, visit our website pagasa.ust.gov.ph.
