00:06 An Eastbourne hotel has been named as the top rated wedding venue in East Sussex for

00:10 2023. The Grand Hotel on Eastbourne Seafront was named as the top wedding venue and the

00:14 award was bestowed upon them by wedding planning website Wedding Dates. The website stated

00:20 "Where could be more romantic to celebrate a white wedding than at the White Palace as

00:24 the Grand is affectionately known and which is one of the most beautiful five-star wedding

00:27 venues in Sussex." During its first fashion fundraiser on November

00:33 18th, Caremark Chichester, the leading provider of care home in the area, raised £1,050 to

00:38 St Wilfred's Hospice. The event, titled The Greatest Show, was held at Westbourne

00:43 House School when opened by the Mayor of Chichester. The masterminds behind the show's success

00:47 were Caremark Chichester's manager, Ellie Chapman, and former Carry On actress Annie

00:52 Maradine, who is now a devoted Caremark care assistant. Annie first appeared on screen

00:57 in the 1955 film The Reluctant Bride, that landed her a role in the very famous Carry

01:01 On films, and has since acted in the St Trinian's movies and various TV shows. Working closely

01:07 with Ellie, Annie drew on her previous experience of setting up her own modelling agency to

01:10 orchestrate the show. And finally, a super pod of up to 500 dolphins

01:16 have been spotted off the Sussex coast. Jake Davison spotted the pod of common dolphins

01:20 swimming 10 miles off the coast in Eastbourne last Wednesday. Jake regularly films his fishing

01:24 trips to his YouTube channel, but said he had never seen that many dolphins at once.

01:28 It's the largest pod seen recorded on video in recent years according to organisation

01:32 Sussex Dolphin Project.
