00:27 that turn these 15 inch diameter tires,

00:33 'cause it does have rear steer.

00:35 You don't wanna have your steering let loose on you

00:38 in the middle of the trail.

00:40 I find it interesting, a lot of people that see my videos

00:50 don't consider that folks that have something like this

00:53 also have full size off-road machines.

00:58 Well, for a laugh, I figured I'd line up

01:02 some of my radio control hobby products

01:04 so you could have a good laugh

01:07 and kinda understand the scale of what's going on here.

01:11 This is, well, how many do I have here?

01:13 Three, six, seven different models here,

01:17 all the way down from a 1/24 scale truck that I had

01:21 that I switched over to a Suzuki Vinson ATV model I had

01:26 with Doug McKenzie there.

01:28 1/18th size, four by four bow tie Chevy.

01:32 1/10th scale, large 1/10th scale truck

01:37 with an eighth scale body on there called Overkill.

01:41 Here is a hard body 1/6th scale,

01:44 even though I think it's closer to 1/8th scale,

01:46 they do get 1/6th scale figures on the inside.

01:50 This is the Sixer One or Suzuki Samurai from Capo.

01:54 There is a Traxxas X-Maxx.

01:56 Everybody's like, "I love the X-Maxx."

01:58 I have an X-Maxx too, I've used it for years.

02:00 Here is the Primo RC Raminator.

02:05 Well, it's not a Raminator,

02:06 it was actually the Mega Mud Truck.

02:08 I've done lots of conversions on it.

02:11 These are 15-inch two-stage snowblower tires on there,

02:17 15-inch diameter, and I put it beside

02:20 my full-size radio-controlled skid steer

02:23 just so you could kinda get an idea

02:26 of how large this machine truly is.

02:28 It's hard, like the camera does it no justice, right?

02:31 And yeah, this is radio-controlled as well.

02:36 Why would you radio-control it?

02:37 It's only good if you drive from the inside.

02:40 Yeah, but if you can't drive it from the outside,

02:43 does that make you a good well-rounded operator?

02:48 This truck is not for sale.

02:51 It's one of a kind.

02:52 It is a Primo RC truck, but I've modified it quite a bit.

03:07 you'd ride it for a moment or two also.

03:10 This truck weighs 100 pounds.

03:14 Mostly due to the 20-pound winch I put on board.

03:32 So some people think I converted over my very, very fast

03:50 Raminator into a trail truck, and no,

03:53 I've actually had two trucks the entire time.

03:55 It's just this one, I wanted to make it into a more

03:58 slower geared, you know, more torque trail truck,

04:03 which means I can take it out on the property here, right,

04:09 and just rip it and have a good time,

04:11 but also have nice control and be able to crawl along.

04:16 These tires have literally no pressure in it.

04:21 Just enough to set the bead and then I let everything out.

04:58 Stuck on a log.

05:19 Or I could just use it as a handle.

05:27 People would say, "Why would you put a big winch on there

05:29 "if you don't use it?"

05:30 Because I've done lots of these videos and people ask.

05:38 And part of it has to do with the weight.

05:43 It's a boat trailer winch that I put on there.

05:48 I de-housed it.

05:52 And so with the extra added 20 pounds,

05:56 the suspension moves the way it should.

05:59 (tires screeching)

06:01 And for being a 1/5 scale truck,

06:07 having bigger tires,

06:13 it's great to have the extra weight on there

06:16 to kind of help the tires flex.

06:23 And then the viewers kind of,

06:25 you know, get a good idea of what the size

06:29 of this vehicle is.

06:30 We did such a good job for so many years

06:33 trying to make the small vehicles look big

06:36 that when we finally get a Goliath,

06:38 everyone's like, "Look how tiny it is."

06:42 Yeah.
