00:00 As the Israel-Hamas conflict rages on, families of hostages still being held by Hamas and
00:06 other militant groups are still waiting in desperation, urging the government to bring
00:11 their loved ones home.
00:13 For these relatives of Portuguese-Israeli hostages, it has been an agonising ordeal.
00:19 Among them is the mother of 28-year-old Idan Stivi.
00:23 The environmental sciences student was kidnapped at the Supernova Desert rave, where he had
00:27 volunteered as a photographer.
00:30 I don't know nothing about my son.
00:32 He just went to the party.
00:35 I don't know nothing about him since then.
00:41 He's injured.
00:42 I don't know if they're taking care of him.
00:46 I don't know the situation.
00:49 Israel says 138 hostages remain in Gaza.
00:53 Among them are 119 men and 17 women and children, according to the military.
00:59 The majority are Israeli, while 11 are foreign nationals.
01:04 Several of the hostages are believed to be 75 and older.
01:08 They include 83-year-old journalist Oded Lifshitz, whose 85-year-old wife Yochved was released
01:14 from captivity in October.
01:17 The couple are peace activists and regularly transported patients from Gaza to receive
01:22 medical treatments in hospitals across Israel.
01:25 Earlier, the government listed the youngest hostage as 10-month-old Kvir Bibas, who was
01:31 taken from the Neir Oz kibbutz with his four-year-old brother Ariel and their mother Shiri.
01:37 The military has said it's investigating a Hamas claim that the three were killed in
01:41 an Israeli airstrike.
01:43 During the week-long ceasefire, Hamas released more than 100 hostages.
01:49 Those released have mostly appeared in stable physical health, though many lost weight in
01:53 captivity.
01:54 However, doctors have warned of the psychological toll of captivity.
02:00 In a letter to the International Committee of the Red Cross, several former hostages
02:04 said some captives were subjected to psychological and physical abuse.
02:09 The hostages also said that Hamas subjected them to severe food shortage, lack of medical
02:13 treatment and unsanitary living conditions.
