Inside the abandoned Philippine Village Hotel

Rappler tours parts of the rundown Philippine Village Hotel, which was recently repossessed by the Philippine government. The structure, which has been left abandoned for more than 20 years, is not deemed safe to enter as broken glass litters the floor and wooden panels dangle from the ceiling.

After taking back the property in late November 2023, the government plans to use the land for an expanded terminal of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
