00:12 start. They all do different things so your

00:14 choice can affect how you'll progress with some kind of passive buff, special

00:17 ability or benefit. But what are the best options and do you

00:20 even need one? Well, yes, you need all the help you can get here. This is a From

00:31 be found in the lands between as you explore or can be bought later from

00:41 and what's worth picking. Crimson Amber Medallion. This medallion

00:44 gives you a bump to your maximum health and that is

01:22 give you a decent number of runes right at the start.

01:24 Once you're able to level up this can fast track any character builds you

01:27 might have in mind with a few extra free levels.

01:30 Fanged Imp Ashes. This is a free Elden Ring spirit ash which lets you summon

01:34 NPCs to fight by your side. In this case a couple of imps. This can

01:38 be used as many times as you like but can only be used once you've got the

01:41 spirit calling bell item so you won't be able to use it right away.

01:44 Cracked Pot. You can get two cracked pots right off the bat if you choose them for

01:48 your starting keepsake. These pots are used in the crafting of

01:50 throwable bombs and never break so you just have to keep filling them with

01:53 ingredients to have a constant supply of explosives.

01:56 Stoneswood Key. These stone keys can be used in certain locks to break seals that

02:00 hide away treasure and more. The keys break once they've been used but

02:03 you can find more out in the world once you're exploring.

02:06 Bewitching Branch. This will give you five consumable branches that release a

02:10 short-range pink fog that can charm enemies.

02:12 Any enemies in this fog will stop attacking you, sheathe their weapons if

02:15 they have any and go on with their day. Boiled Prawn. This gives you five bits of

02:20 prawn meat you can consume to temporarily boost your physical damage

02:23 resistance, meaning you'll take less damage from

02:25 physical weapon attacks while the prawn's buff is active.

02:28 Shabriri's Woe. This gross head constantly attracts the aggression of

02:32 enemies in Elden Ring. We really don't know why you would want

02:35 this keepsake as it's basically asking for trouble in a world that wants you
