It's really emotional, absolutely, my heart is with this school, it's an amazing school
00:04
led by an amazing team. Mr Roo has taken this school beyond any of my expectations. I'm
00:11
really sad to leave, however I know I've left it in really good hands. There's a new chair
00:15
Robert and a vice chair Carl and they will continue in the legacy of Eponay. Eponay is
00:21
about people and children, it's not about me or anybody else.
00:26
It's sad but really happy because ultimately this is where Audrey wanted to put us, in
00:33
a facility like what we've got, with the children that we've got and she's kind of led the way
00:39
for us so it's a celebration from my point of view for what she's done for the school
00:44
and a lovely assembly, watching the kids sing is really fitting for her leaving.
00:50
They've came through off-stead, outstanding in every category, I'm not surprised, it's
00:55
an amazing school so it's lovely to be able to hand it on but it is time for somebody
00:59
else to take it forward and continue in the work that happens in this amazing building,
01:04
this amazing school led by an amazing team.
01:06
It's the icing on the cake isn't it for her and for us, I wouldn't want her to leave in
01:11
any other way, we've just had a recent off-stead which she was a major part of. She's left
01:16
us in a really good place and for us now it's making sure that we keep those high standards
01:20
and Audrey's left the school but she's still in the borough and I'm pretty sure she'll
01:24
still be hopefully a close friend of the school.
