Surf's Up (Kaitlynn and Brian Duet)

I swear I’m the #1 surf’s up enthusiast, & I literally think of this song as like my shortenin’ bread. Now before you ask, Kaitlynn, what do you mean by that? I mean Brian absolutely loved this song. He’s recorded this quite a few different times & had been known to play that for people when they came over to his house. So I think of it as Brian :: shortenin’ bread to Kaitlynn :: surf’s up. There’s a term for that, but I can’t remember This song’s been on my mind lately, & I actually had this little idea the other day (being sometime within the past three weeks) to do this. It never occurred to me to do a duet before, but I just wanted to do it. This is probably the closest I’ll ever get to doing a duet with Brian, & I have to say, I think we sound good together & it was really fun harmonizing with him! His voice is so beautiful ❤️, I love this song & him. I wish this video was longer, but that’s all there is This feels more stripped down compared to everything I’ve done so far. nothing’s had a single vocal, I’ve either sang with myself three times or six, but I like this. I’ll definitely have to keep my eyes open for other videos I can do this with! either way, this’s to hold you over for the very delayed Brian post. I’ve also been working on something I didn’t have planned, but it’s very very important to me, so you’ll be seeing another video sometime soon. I’m kinda swamped with assignments, so this is me taking a break & finally doing what I love again! I haven’t stopped, but it’s been a little while since I posted another singing video, so I hope you guys enjoy it! this song’s always on my mind, & I swear everytime I get to talk beach boys, I always mention this song. it’s my absolute favorite song of theirs, like I always say. I hope one day, I can be as good as him. Peace & love my friends!
