ever since hearing this song for the first time yesterday, i’ve been thinking about it nonstop and how i’d harmonize with it, and then boom! by my own spontaneity, here’s a cover of it! ☺️

this song is officially my favorite monkees song. it was you and i (1996) since last year, but this song immediately found its way into my heart and knocked you and i out of 1st place in terms of my favorite monkees songs.

i know everytime i hear this song, i’ll always remember what mike said last night and how it made me feel. i can’t believe it’s already been a day later and i still can’t even believe last night was real, the last time i felt this way was when i saw queen in 2019.
