00:00 Good morning to all of us. Today is Thursday, November 23, 2023.
00:06 And this is the time for the whole afternoon and the next days.
00:12 Currently, the Northeast Monsoon is still raging or the cold wind in the Northern and Central Luzon.
00:20 And because of the cold wind and the Easter Leaves or the hot wind that is blowing from the Pacific Ocean,
00:26 there is still a shear line here in the Southern Luzon.
00:30 And this will bring heavy rain to the Bicol region and the Palawan area, as well as to Quezon.
00:38 And as early as this morning, we have seen cloud clusters outside of our Philippine area of responsibility,
00:45 in the Canlura of Palawan, even though this is not yet a low-pressure area.
00:49 But we will continue to monitor this in the next few hours and we will release rainfall advisories and thunderstorm advisories
00:56 whenever this will affect the other parts of our land.
01:00 Also, this morning we have seen cloud clusters in the Eastern Southern Luzon and in the Northern Summer area.
01:06 That is why our fellow countrymen are still being careful there,
01:09 because even though we cannot expect continuous rains in the Northern Summer,
01:14 because this area was also flooded in the past few days, it is still possible for floods and landslides to occur.
01:21 And for the weather conditions in the Eastern Luzon,
01:26 we hope that the cloudy skies will be affected by low rainfall in the Northern Luzon,
01:31 particularly in Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, and Apayaw, because of the cold wind.
01:38 And here in the Bicol region, Quezon, and Palawan, we also expect cloudy skies with scattered rains, landslides, and landslides,
01:46 just like in the Sierra Lines, or in the wind currents from the Amihan and the Easter Lees.
01:52 And in the northern part of the Luzon, the clouds will remain until the skies are cloudy.
01:56 The Amihan winds will continue to affect and bring storms in the Northern and Central Luzon.
02:02 And here in Metro Manila and most of Southern Luzon and in the Maropa area,
02:07 we expect that there will be thunderstorms.
02:11 The temperature in the area is 21 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:16 In Tuguegarao, 22 to 28. Baguio City, 15 to 24. Metro Manila, 24 to 32. Tagaytay, 22 to 29.
02:26 In Legazpi, Puerto Princesa, and Calayaan Islands, it is 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.
02:34 And for the weather in Visayas and Mindanao, we expect cloudy skies with scattered rains, landslides, and landslides,
02:44 just like in the localised thunderstorms.
02:46 Although we did not list the possibility of severe thunderstorm events,
02:50 and there may still be floods, especially in the areas in the eastern Visayas,
02:55 where there were heavy rains in the past few days.
02:58 So, our countrymen are continuously being careful here in Visayas and Mindanao whenever there are severe thunderstorm events.
03:06 The temperature in Iloilo and Metro Cebu is 27 to 32 degrees Celsius.
03:12 In Tacloban, 26 to 31. In Cagayan de Oro, 25 to 32.
03:18 And here in Zamboanga City and in Metro Davao, it is 25 to 34 degrees Celsius.
03:26 And for the weather in our ocean, we do not have a high-level gale warning
03:31 for our countrymen, our fishermen, and small fishing boats.
03:37 We are just being careful with the weather in all the townships of Luzon,
03:41 because the high-level gale warnings can still be felt in the areas of Hanging Amihan.
03:47 And for our three-day weather outlook starting tomorrow, Friday, and until the weekend,
03:53 we expect that in Metro Manila, Hanging Amihan will continue to be windy.
03:58 And on the weekend, it is possible for localized thunderstorms to occur.
04:02 And here in Baguio City, the winds will continue to be windy until Saturday,
04:08 when the sky will be cloudy with light rain.
04:11 And when Sunday comes, there will be thunderstorms in Baguio City and most of the Cordilleras.
04:18 And here in Bicol Region, Visayas, and Mindanao, we hope that the sky will be cloudy until the sky is cloudy,
04:25 and there are still chances of isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
04:29 The temperature in Metro Manila is 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.
04:35 In Baguio City, it is 15 to 24.
04:38 In Legazpi, it is 25 to 33 degrees Celsius.
04:42 In Metro Cebu, it is 26 to 33.
04:45 And here in Metro Davao, it is 25 to 34 degrees Celsius.
04:49 And the sun will rise at 6am today and set later at 5.24pm.
04:57 And for additional updates, especially on thunderstorm and rainfall advisories,
05:03 or to visit our social media accounts, dusty_pagasa,
05:07 and for additional information, visit our website, pagasa.dusty.gov.ph.
05:14 And that's all for now from the Pagasa Weather Forecasting Center.
05:18 This is Patrick Del Mundo. Good morning to all of you.
