00:09 This right here is the Odyssey Neo G9, which is 57 inches.

00:17 This is taking things to a whole new level.

00:33 That's not a problem considering how the Odyssey OLED G9

00:36 is one of the best curved monitors we ever tested.

00:39 I was impressed by the Odyssey Neo G9's

00:42 immersive 1000R curved OLED display,

00:45 sharp resolution, smooth refresh rate,

00:47 and fast response time.

00:48 I'll need more hands-on time to render a final verdict,

00:51 but based on my experience, the Odyssey Neo G9

00:53 could be a stellar gaming monitor

00:55 for those who have space on their gaming desk

00:57 and who could afford it.

00:59 At 57 inches wide, the Odyssey Neo G9

01:02 is absolutely enormous, but that wide field of view

01:04 provides for an immersive gaming experience.

01:07 The V-shaped stand is wide,

01:08 but its thin legs don't take up much space.

01:10 If you like placing your gaming keyboard

01:12 at an angle while gaming,

01:13 the stand's legs shouldn't get in your way.

01:15 Like the Odyssey OLED G9, the Odyssey Neo G9

01:19 has an all-silver chassis covering its back.

01:21 There's also RGB lighting surrounding the monitor mount.

01:24 And in case you're wondering,

01:25 you can configure the RGB lighting to correspond

01:27 with what's happening on display

01:29 for that extra level of immersion.

01:31 Not only is its 1000R curvature immersive,

01:35 but images look bright and colorful

01:36 at a sharp 7680 by 2160 resolution.

01:40 I tested a range of titles with different visual styles.

01:43 Fortnite, with its cartoonish art style and bold colors,

01:46 looked phenomenal on the Odyssey Neo G9.

01:48 Not only that, but the sharp resolution

01:50 and 32 by nine aspect ratio allowed me to see players

01:53 who were trying to sneak up on me.

01:55 Call of Duty Warzones comparatively realistic graphics

01:58 also look great on the monitor.

01:59 Samsung says the monitor's quantum matrix technology

02:02 with quantum mini LEDs creates controlled brightness

02:05 and improved contrast for better definition.

02:08 We'll need to get the Odyssey Neo G9

02:10 into our testing lab to confirm these claims,

02:12 but to my eyes, the monitor delivers

02:14 excellent image quality.

02:15 Like the Odyssey OLED G9, the Odyssey Neo G9

02:19 allows for picture-in-picture

02:20 from two different sources simultaneously.

02:26 and a website on the other.

02:28 The 240 hertz refresh rate helped make Fortnite,
