00:00 On November 9th, Warner Bros. Pictures announced that they were shelving an already completed
00:03 film starring John Cena, Coyote vs. Acme.
00:07 But now, after outrage from the crew and the public, the studio is actually reversing its
00:12 decision.
00:14 In case you missed it, Warner Bros. was planning on scrapping their $72 million dollar movie
00:19 in order to get a $30 million dollar tax write-off.
00:22 This isn't the first time the company has done this, as Batgirl and Scoob Holiday Haunt
00:26 were also locked in the Warner Bros. vault.
00:29 However, the internet and the crew of Coyote vs. Acme slammed the studio online when this
00:34 news broke.
00:35 Crew members from all departments shared behind the scene videos, and while most have been
00:39 claimed for copyrights, filmmakers who had seen the movie came out of the woodworks to
00:43 sing its praises.
00:45 And many users online slammed the studio for this course of action, and even questioned
00:49 the legality of its practice.
00:52 And it seems like everything worked, as Warner Bros. will now allegedly let the filmmakers
00:56 of Coyote vs. Acme shop the movie to other potential distributors.
01:01 According to Deadline, Amazon Prime, Apple, and Netflix are all interested in potentially
01:05 acquiring the film, and screenings are being set up for the streamers this week.
