00:00 Dodge has brought its bold, powerful, street smart attitude to the midsize SUV segment
00:11 with the all new 2007 Dodge Nitro, and it is as big and brawny a vehicle as the company

00:18 The Nitro is as angular and masculine as a chemically indulgent body builder.
00:22 The cross hair grille is signature Dodge and the chrome accents add luster while not tarnishing
00:26 the SUV's bad boy ideology.
00:29 The very front of the vehicle is emblazoned by Dodge's three dimensional Rams head logo,
00:33 giving Nitro the face of a medieval battering ram, making it easy to imagine the driver
00:38 stepping out of the cockpit wielding an oversized battle axe.
00:41 The 2007 Dodge Nitro RT is powered by a 4.0 liter V6 that produces 260 horsepower and
00:48 265 pound feet of torque.
00:51 You can choose between two or four wheel drive as well as four or five speed automatic or
00:56 six speed manual transmissions, depending on the model.
00:59 Inside, the Nitro is well versed in digital entertainment and communication technologies,
01:04 featuring CD, DVD, MP3 and USB capabilities as well as a video entertainment system that's
01:10 mixed into an integrated infotainment system called MyGig.
01:14 MyGig offers control of the aforementioned capabilities through touch screen and voice
