European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen made an unannounced visit to Kyiv on Saturday. This is her sixth visit to Ukraine since Russia's invasion.

00:05 for talks with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

00:08 It comes just before the release of an EU report that will assess how Ukraine has gone

00:13 towards meeting the criteria for EU membership.

00:16 And it will play a critical role in determining whether the bloc agrees to start formal accession

00:21 talks with Kiev next month.

00:23 Von der Leyen also paid tribute to Ukraine's railway workers."

00:36 You got the grain and the vital products out of Ukraine and into the world.
