Woman who survived being hit by two trains tells her story

Under a minute from Sky News' interview with Sarah de Lagarde, who slipped and fell between the train and the platform at High Barnet Station, was hit by two trains and lost an arm and a leg.

00:00 Yes, so I slipped on a puddle on the platform

00:05 and crashed against a stationary train,

00:08 fell through the gap in between the train and the platform.

00:12 I injured myself badly enough to break a nose in my two front teeth

00:17 and then the train departed and took my right arm with it.

00:23 I was conscious throughout and I shouted for help

00:27 and nobody heard me and a second train came into the platform

00:32 and claimed my right leg.

00:35 I was still conscious after that, still determined to make it home

00:39 because in my mind's eye I could see my two daughters

00:42 and they were telling me, "Mummy, you have to come home.

00:45 What are you doing?"

00:47 And at that point somebody heard me.
