Gunung Kelud has a folklore that has been passed down from ancestors until now. which tells the story of the beautiful princess of the Majapahit kingdom named Dyah Ayu Pusparini .. because of her beauty, many young men wanted to propose to her but were rejected. until finally a competition was held. Then a buffalo-headed young man named Lembu Suro appeared. This folklore is adapted from stories from Kediri, Blitar and Tulungagung.
